BLUEBERRY BARBEQUE
This is a classic Texan style fruity BBQ with blueberry undertones and Smokey notes. It is ideal for use as a basting or glaze on steaks, chops, ribs, burgers, chicken pieces or kebabs. It can stand alone as a fabulous dip for fries, goujons, meatballs and sausage.

CHERMOULA
An aromatic North African marinade or condiment. Marinade and roast a fish fillet, finish a braaied lamb chop or baste grilled chicken or cauliflower. It’s a great addition to cous cous, just stir it in once steamed or use as a condiment to thinly sliced steak. Fairly spicy.

TRADITIONAL CURRY
& APRICOT SOSATIE
A firm South African favourite. A slightly sweet, spicy, fruity curry based marinade. Marinade and grill a fish or chicken fillet or a braaied lamb or chicken sosatie. A taste of the Cape.

HARISSA
Originally a tomato based chilli paste from Tunisia, we have toned down the heat to medium but kept the fragrance. It’s ideal as a marinade, basting or glaze. Excellent on all braaied chops, chicken, grilled fish, and roast vegetables. We recommend reserving some to baste your dish right at the end of cooking to ensure maximum flavour and a shiny rich appearance. Alternatively serve as a dip or a condiment.

LEMON, GARLIC & HERB
This is an all-time favourite. We have made it using freshly squeezed lemon juice. It can be used as a marinade, basting or glaze. Braaied lamb chops, roast fish fillet or chicken kebabs are fabulous with this marinade. Pour over a lamb roast 20 minutes before removing from the oven or Weber for a delicious citrus and herb crust or dilute with 1 cup of water for a chicken casserole.

SPANISH PAPRIKA & ROSEMARY
Built for lamb, its paprika heat, rosemary, and citrus stand up to the rich lamb fat. It’s perfect as a marinade and basting for lamb chops as well as a glaze for a delicious crust on a lamb roast. It is equally at home on grilled or braaied chicken or roasted butternut.

CHAKALAKA
This is our interpretation of this local classic enjoyed at roadside Shisa Nyama’s all over the country. Ideal on all meats and even roasted or grilled vegetables. It makes a delicious dip too.

This marinade is extremely diverse. It can be used as a marinade, basting and glaze when braaing, grilling or roasting any meat, poultry, or fish. It’s a great alternative to our Blueberry BBQ. Also ideal as a stir fry sauce just add to any stir fry for a rich, aromatic, medium hot, Asian flavour.

Our exciting version of Sweet Chilli. The rich smokiness of the chipotle chilli with the fragrant lime juice lifts this favourite to exciting new levels. A great basting sauce for braaied meat or poultry, a delicious finish to a roast meat, fish, or vegetables or as an alternative to a stir fry. This is a versatile option to cook with or use as a dip and it packs a bit of a punch.
